An excellent opportunity has arisen for a part-time Furniture, Fixture & Equipment Coordinator to join our team.
Smartstyle Interiors provides full interior design, interior styling and project implementation. The business was established in 2006 and is based in Tunbridge Wells. We work with clients in Kent, Sussex and across the South East of England. We don’t do mediocre, and only work with the best local contractors, craftsman and suppliers who like us, are committed to excellence.
We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic and passionate about interior design. You will be an integral part of the business, supporting the Director to ensure first class client service and that design projects are delivered on time, and within agreed budget.
You will thrive on building relationships, so excellent communication style is a must. Highly organised and driven, you will be pro-active and able to juggle multiple tasks to ensure the smooth running of the studio.
We expect proven ability to manage a project from initial scope to completion. This role will suit someone who has meticulous attention to detail and able to provide excellent client service. You will have the ability to use your initiative and be accountable for your contribution to the team.
We ask that you are educated to A- Levels or equivalent and have strong IT skills, including use of Office 365. Due to the nature of the role, you will need a driving licence and your own transport.
Relationships – Working with clients and suppliers to assist with projects and ensure they are completed to a high standard. Supporting the Director and designers where necessary
Project Management – Assisting with the whole life cycle of a project. Involved with ordering, pricing, creating tender documents and developing scheme sheets.
Sourcing – Researching products, including fabrics and paint. Ordering and managing samples
Finance – Putting together quotes and responsible for paying invoices together in a timely manner
Permanent (with a 3-month probation period)
Part -Time (3 days a week)
Salary Pro Rota £15,000 dependent on experience ( £25,000 Full Time Equivalent)
