Phoebe's Fab 3: Winning Whites

White is the most versatile of colours and in light of Benjamin Moore naming Simply White their colour of the year, I’ve chosen three fabulous white pieces to pair with the shade. There’s a place in every home for these, be it a house full of colour or a white space full of clean lines and architectural details.

I’ve been going a little ceramic mad lately and am completely in love with this large white Katsura Vase from Urbanara. It’s the sharp pleated design of the vase that captures my eye, so even though it’s plain white, the light on the pattern brings a dynamic edge to the otherwise simple shape. This look compliments the softness of a bunch of flowers as well as being striking on its own.  This is most defiantly on my shopping list!

I’m a big fan of a throw (remember these Fab 3?) and especially love using them in the lounge and bedroom. I find that when designing, especially with just white, your room needs layers of texture to prevent it from becoming flat and cold. What better way to do this than by adding a scrumptious Houseology Murmur Mist Throw to your space! Simply throw this over the corner of a sofa or the back of a chair and it will look great during the day and will be fantastic to snuggle up under when reading on a chilly winters evening.

The J104 Chair in White by HAY is a chameleon. It’s a fantastic piece of furniture that can comfortably fit in within many different interior styles, from country chic to stark minimalist as well as everything in between. Any dining table would look super stylish with a set if these around it.

Do you have a favourite white accent piece or a show-stopping white piece of furniture? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
