As the owner of an independent business, I know how important it is to support independents who are working hard to share a unique point of view and provide great service to their customers, so I wanted to follow-up last week’s post about my favourite High Street Haunts by sharing three of my favourite indies. These three indie interiors shops do a fantastic job of sourcing beautiful products that will truly stand out in your home and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great new piece of furniture, a statement home accessory, or an unforgettable accent piece.
Mia Fleur is an online boutique run by sisters Amelia and Hollie and their mum, Jacqui. The site is packed full of elegant homewares, garden goods, and gifts that are sure to bring a smile to your face. Their products are bang on trend with plenty of warm metallics, blush pinks, and rich blues. I’m currently craving these yummy Pink Palm Leaf Plates (left) and urge you to hop on over to their site and see what steals your heart!
Pad Deco is an interiors shop and design practise based in Cardiff set up by Penelope Allen and Joseph Lloyd and brings artisanal design goods to savvy customers. They’ve recently launched their online shop which is ever so lucky for all of us who don’t have the opportunity to visit them in person, and the site is full of gorgeous things for the home. This BFK Leather Chair by Sol & Luna (middle) definitely has my name all over it, except for the fact that I may have one too many chairs already…
Lastly, I absolutely love Decorator’s Notebook! They offer a selection of great products that match their ethos of homeware that is designed to truly change lives. They source their goods from fair trade artists all over the world but still keep their prices competitive and reasonable. While I love placing their products in my client projects, I currently have my eye on their rose pink Honeycomb Throw (right) for myself. It’s so wonderful to know that the items you buy and love from Decorator’s Notebook are truly helping the people who made them.
