A Smartstyle Design Journey: A Tweenager’s Bedroom in Tunbridge Wells

“Kids, they grow up so fast!” This is a phrase that gets said to you so often when you have children that when you’re getting on with the day-to-day of raising them it can become very annoying indeed. However, the saying is true and before you know it that small bundle you were handed in the hospital is a strapping, very witting and slightly sulky tweenager, that ever-fun stage that sits between being a child and a fully-fledged teenager. A Smartstyle Design Journey: A Weekend Retreat in Battle, East Sussex

It was a chilly February day in 2014 when I first met Ruth and Giles at their newly purchased Grade II listed house in Battle, East Sussex. A Smartstyle design journey with naylor accountancy

Last summer, I was really lucky to be approached by Naylor Accountancy, an accountancy firm based in Tunbridge Wells, to work with them to design their new office. The company had outgrown their current premises, but it wasn’t just a larger space to fit their expanding team that that they wanted, they wanted a fresh space that reflected the dynamic personalities of their staff and reinforced their company’s slick operation. They wanted an office that would wow their clients when they visited and a space their staff was delighted to walk into every single day. Owner Nikolai Naylor was able to see the power that a well-designed office space would bring to the Naylor brand straight-away and I jumped at the chance to work with him and make his design dreams a reality.
