When it comes to choosing décor for the home, we love to select pieces made by local craftspeople and artists. Not only does this help us support our vibrant arts and crafts communities– it's also a sure-fire way to make your home extra unique! Here are three of our favourite local craftspeople whose work looks great in just about every home.
TedWood – Ted Jefferis, the amazingly talented man behind TedWood, uses wood and leather to create beautiful home accessories. I love the TipToe collection and am proud to have one of the benches in my hall.
Catherine Altken – I've long had Catherine Altken's work on my very own wish list and love her simple, yet clever, designs, especially the Hexaform Side Table!
Lorna Syson – Hanging above my TedWood bench is my divine Lorna Syson Lampshade. Lorna, who draws inspiration from the countryside, creates unique fabrics, cushion and lamp shades. Her fabric and designs have even adorned such places as the West London Buddhist Centre.
